I'm Somewhere

Postby Stoub on Mon Aug 03, 2009 9:45 pm

Y'ello lads, I'm Stoub, I got a youtube from way back when. Old liberty vlogs. Anyways I'm a lot of things, mostly described as a Left Libertarian. I'm into Nietzsche, Stirner, and uh... lots of crap really. I play d&d, I'm an aspie, and I've been active in the uh, extreme anti-statist libertarian community for quite some time. Some of you I already know and some of you I have no fucking clue who you are. If swearing isn't allowed chances are I'll be banned into oblivion, and I've got a sense of humor about tons of things... sometimes inappropriately but you know what I'm okay with that. I don't have a clue what the hell I am in all actuality but I identify here most so we'll go with that. Mostly I'm a bit of a natural skeptic, in that I'm skeptical and close minded to almost all things, hell I question even my basest assumptions about everything. In that sense I'm a Pyrrhian skeptic... but uh I'm very deconstructionist. I've deconstructed most ideologies I've arrived at, not on purposes I just do it in the back of my head and it happens. It happened with every ideology, religion, belief I've ever been and uh... so far I've deconstructed most Left Libertarian ideologies in my head. Despite that I still for -some- reason identify as one. Go figure. Anyways give me a pm or something. Thank Noor for my coming here.

If swearing isn't allowed...

Fuck no.

Allow me to be the first to welcome you. I reckon you're going to get on swimmingly with Vichy.

I'm a fan of Nietzsche and Stirner myself, I'm not an anti-statist (though I dislike the government quite a bit). I'm a skeptic in one sense of the word, but I wouldn't identify with certain philosophical movements claiming the name (I can't stand 'radical' scepticism, which is a bit like solipsism). Anyways, hello.

When I say I'm a skeptic I mean mostly in the scientific sense in all philosophical manners. But I'm like naturally a skeptic behind everything in my head you know? I'm kinda a political realist, and frankly most of the reason I'm an anarchist is because well... I'm not the government. It's more a reason of power than a reason of morality or whatever. Though I'm skeptical about that too (god help me).

I dunno what it is, in the back of my head I start ripping apart everything. From stuff I believe(d) in to the most esoteric crap I've ever seen. But enough of my rambling, thanks for the welcome and maybe we can chat about the gruesome twosome sometime. (Yes I meant Stirner and Nietzche).

As for the law of Noor being ruler of the world, yes. That's all I have to say.

Yeah, not only do I feel compelled to dissect politics, but I'm also likely to go on a rant about how Kant's categories are fallacious.

Same, but I feel compelled to dissect everything in my head. It's like some psychological reflex, as for Kant... well his big-ass head is sticking out of my trash can as we speak.

Kant de la Pumpkinhead.

Kant had a problem which underlies almost every philosophical problem; and that's over simplification. I'll rant about that later though, right now I'm just enjoying a waffle.

Well, he also gets a much more elaborate and reasonable kicking from Neitzsche (references to "the thing in itself" are basically a criticism of Kant and Kantianism).

It's true. I've could totally slice out one's tongue and cut it into a fajita. Then serve it under a fillet de genitale made from the same individual.

Pfft.

I could do much worse, but I'll refrain from saying anything in the fear of making you both fall down dead squirming at the thought. That'd just remove any chance of fun with you aspies.
